At the 1971 session of Yearly Meeting the Advisory Committee reported that it planned a comprehensive review of the program and structure of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting. The Review Committee, a subcommittee of Advisory Committee, was formed to that purpose, and presented its final report which was revised and adopted by Yearly Meeting in 1974. Mount Holly Monthly Meeting was established in 1776 by Burlington Quarterly Meeting out of Burlington Monthly Meeting. In 1827, after the Hicksite Separation in Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, the Meeting split into Hicksite and Orthodox branches. The Orthodox Meeting was discontinued in 1828 ; its members were transferred to Burlington Monthly Meeting (Orthodox).
